Alexander Joseph, Alexander Michael, Christopher (Aaron, David, Ryan, Isaac, Alex/ander), Alexander Ryan – hmm...
Boy, we've been struggling with our second boy’s name. He's now two (2) days old and we still haven't named him. Now we're not tree huggers (not noticeably, at least), we're not overly artsy, nor are we home-schooler zealots (oh, did I say that) so considering ourselves moderate commoners - why are we paining so over this. My wife even threatened me with one of my name suggestions yesterday and has now relented and said I can choose (she trusts me ;-)): I think she just feels bad from that episode in front of my mom. I've always thought good biblical names are best but with our first son, Matthew Noah, we've sort of taken up all of the ones I like. You know, it's got to be yellable (halting), presidential, it can’t invoke playground jokes/beatings, etc. It's a serious decision!
So, the Stats:
Born March 13th 2007 at 10:24a
Weighed 7 lbs 11 oz at birth
No name yet
Mommy's doing well and our first son is taking it all in stride. He's gotten in some good face time and has put some good smooches on his baby brother. Thankfully, Ma and Pa are keeping him busy. Matthew's third (3) birthday party was put on at a local fun spot to real success Saturday - there were about twenty (20) little boys and girls running around having a hoot.
Bennie was cool enough to send out an announcement to Statera senior staff yesterday titled "Junior Architect" from which I'm borrwowing for title play. You know, Pete Miller made a good point in his email to the wife and me where he said about our name indecision - "[you] know, once you go into production, those changes are harder to make".
So with a lot of input we've decided: Alexander Ryan it is!
